:Earl, from this end it depends on why you want to do the swap. Are you going from a six or replacing a 302? This engine in stock form has nothing outstanding going for it. The book specs it as less performance than an older 302 from 79 back. If performance built and you need a 302/5L then go for it. An 81-82 302-2b has more performance. Just my opinion. Good luck with what ever you decide.
