I just had mine done. I had the rubber replaced and they did not break the windshield. Shops always tell you that there is a chance that the window will break.

Call around to differant shops for a good price on the rubber. I think a payed about $70.00 for the rubber. the whole job was about $100.00. Find a shop who knows what there doing on resealing the window. Some shop are not fimiliar on sealing it right so it will not leak. They have to really pack the sealant in so it will not leak. The mav and the older mustang are the same on sealing. If the shop does it now than find another one.
