Can I just replace the ball joint without replacing the whole thing? : :This is the first thing I want to do, I think. ..Have you taken it apart and looked at the wear? They are mounted between spring loaded seats and normally have some play in order to signal the system which way to operate the power cylinder. I'm just alerting you to this as you may think its worn because there is some play. It can also be adjusted if not worn. Ken
