first keep in mind it's a complete package to go fast. You'll need good rear tires and front ones that reduce weight. Good front end & alignment. Balance your driveshaft. And a good dist. for the iginition system. Everything else looks pretty good. You don't need a roller block or F303 cam. I'd also use Comp Cams roller rocker arms. Windage tray and double roller timing gears. a 3000 rpm convertor would probably be better. You'll find in a light car you can get away with more convertor. And don't forget the DRIVESHAFT SAFETY LOOP.

:Get a 1974 grabber 302 into the low 13's WITHOUT nos.... mind you the NOS will be there but i want low 13's on engine.... The car i have is 2900lbs factory. For a stock car now (138hp and 230ft/tq) it does have some zip to it it has posi in it and 3.00 gearing. What i was thinking about was to take and get a 302 form the junkyard, have it preped .030. Get some 351 heads and have them preped and pocket ported. Add a 4bbl manifold and holly 600cfm. Get the C4 tranny rebuilt with a decent shift kit(see seperate post about that). Add a 2500 stall. get 373 gears put in. Add a cam as follows - 276/286 218/228 (at 050) .471/.471 and 114 sep, headers and duel exhaust. Think that might do it? My friend suggests a roller block cam 302 with a F303, he has one and it sounds mean - i want the same type of lope. I do not think my stock 8.0 compression engine will do low 13's if add the above - nor do i think it would handle the power well. Anyways lemme know what ya think. I want low 13's on engine, i want a decent lope to the engine and i wiegh 2900 pounds.
