:What did the quarters look like? And, is the black OK and the silver needs a repaint? Thanks for posting the info

The quarters look great from what I could tell... I looked on the inside and looks like they have never been repaired (bondo,etc.). As far as the paint.... in my opinion the black isn't that great, but there are no major runs or anything in it. The main detraction in the paint job is the stripes and the border between the silver and black. Where they pulled the tape off left the edges jagged (not bad, but obviously a repaint from 10 feet away). I don't know much about Stallions, but I would assume the original stripes were just that, pin stripes (vinyl). These look like they were painted on. The guy said the paint shop was about to scrape the Stallion stickers off the front fenders when he stopped them... there's actually a corner missing from one. Looks like they masked off the decals and painted around them. Also the rear trunk lid has a rusty "scrape" across the top edge... lady who was driving it backed into a chain-link fence. No body damage, but scraped the paint to the metal. The car has a new OEM (horns) gas cap on it that's as shiny as a new quarter. Ever heard of a 20 footer? That's what this is. Looks great from 20 feet, but the closer you get, the more you see. I hope this helps.
