So my car's been sitting neglected in the North Carolina heat for several months. I finally got a weekend off to play with it, so today I piddled around. When I bought the car, both doors sagged and you couldn't shut them without lifting up on the handle... you know the deal. So I spent a good amount of time today installing new pins and bushings. Results are outstanding, and I felt like I had finally accomplished something worthwhile. Then I check my e-mail and see what Shawn Simpson's been up to. Is that sweet or what? For those of you who might not have gotten that e-mail, I've included the pic (hope you don't mind, Shawn). Hey, I might not have a new 9 inch or cool new Boyds wheels, but I can close my doors now without feeling like Jethro Bodine, and that's worth a beer or two. | Uploaded file |
