did the engine turn over before you installed it. And did it turn over when you installed the dist. You didn't say if auto or manual trans, anywhere I could find. Auto had to turn it to install, manual just install. And depending on how long the battery has set, probably dead or bad connection, lights don't take any power to work, starter is big difference. :I need help here guys. Here is the situation. I dropped the 200 rebuilt long block in pretty simply. A couple of little snags but no biggie. Anyway, the lights work and the starter makes one click and attempt to turn the engine over but NOTHING. I primed the oil pump with a deep socket and thought that I was ready to go. What should I check first and what should I do? |
