they are, that's also one of the problems with gear oil getting out there, screws up the bearings to because they're not made to come in contact with the different oil. :Just want to make sure.....Are the new axle bearings sealed? I won't have to pack grease like the front bearings, right? Looks as though they are sealed. Everything went fine, I just wanted to make sure of this before I put the axle back in tomorrow morn.
