: A race friend of mine has a drag truck.(FordRanger) Last winter he stroked his 302 to a 347 with a good set of trick flow heads. Around my area all we have is 1/8th mile strips. Mind you his truck is strickly race, but it weighs 2800 pds. with him in it, he has ran a best of 6.58 e.t. at 109. That is gettin it with a small block on 110 oct. you can build a wicked 347 and still be road reliable. This is a project with many different ways to go. Decide on what you want, more street or more strip and go from there.
