Here's the deal Im holding my 77 one in my hands. By looking at this it seems as though you are discribing the junction block that's on my 73. Any way, the one that came off of the 77 (which had power brakes if that matters?) was vertical on the inner fender. It seems to match the one in the chiltons. the wiew that the chiltons shows is as though you are looking threw the fender at it from the back. Starting at the top and going right it says 1.Front inlet: clearly comming in from the front of the master cylinder. 2.out to right front. 3. out to rear 4. inlet for rear 5. brake switch 6. out to left front. The puzzler is that I have two lines attached to the prop valvw and one is comming out of what chilton's called #2 out to right front. Why is this short line, which most likely went to the master cylinder, comming out here. It's too dark/late to check-out the 73 right now! It's not a prop valve anyway. I don't want to have to drive 1 and half hours each way just to check this car out again. I might add: I just looked at my new master cylinder ordered as a 77 disc manual....It's inlets are a little larger than the fittings on each of the short lines that came off the doner 77. Thanks for all attempts to talk me through this! |
