The dash is just bolted in. It's fairly easy to take out until you get to the last few bolts. They're under the windshield gasket, so the windshield has to come out. I was thinking about doing the same thing, but I think I will keep the stock dash and just try customize the instrument panel/bezel... maybe even make one from scratch and put in some digital guages or something. I've also seen nice custom consoles that have been made to integrate into the dash, giving it a more modern look. If you do a custom dash, let us know how it turns out. Earl (a.k.a. MadMav71) |
