the sliding thing on the column is you iginition switch, also your main power system goes thru there, sounds like it going bad fast. Replace it. The flashers are designed to always work, even if you rolled the car up in a metal ball. The A/C, could be lots of things. Depends on how long it's been since it was used. Bad seals, freon leaked out, compressor bad, belt missing, coils plugged, thermo switch FUBAR, buss missing, fan electromagnet bad, etc.

:Well I got my new mav, and it has a/c and I was looking for an idea on why it isn't working, and I looke dunder the dash and there are hoses LOTS, and there is one that is black with a white stripe, and it is near the kick pannal of the passenger side, any ideas????? Also what are small things that might make an a/c work???, and another question I turn my turn signal on and nothing happens no click, but I put on the hazards and they come right on and blink off and on the break lights work, the the reverse lights don't work ither, but I had this same problem with my last mav. it was that copper slidign deal on the stearing colom, but I have no clue about the turing signal deal, so any ideas on the a/c or the bliker switch would be great!!!
:thanks,
:Jason
