I am fitting my engine into my 1974 Comet right now. I can tell you that it all depends on how your going to deal with the shock tower issues and/or are you going to raise the engine. In other words, the best thing to do is wait until you are done then measure it out and take it to a place that can cut it hopefully it is long enough that it can be cut! and then have it balanced. As far as I know there is no drive shaft that will just fit in for all circumstances. What ever you do good luck

:ok heres the deal, i got a friend giving me a C4 tranny that was originally in a 1967 mustang and has everything necessary to bolt it up to a 351W. in my car i got the 351W and i want to add on this C4. does anyone know how long this driveshaft is and/or where i can get one in the new york city area? please help me. thanks again in advance.
