The only advice I can offer is this: I saw a Comet for sale on the On-line Classified. It was in Washington State (somewhere). V-8, Buckets, Alum wheels. They were wanting $2000. Maybe you should look into buying that car, or buying another Maverick all-together. All I am saying is that you ( and any of you for that matter) might want to consider buying a car that is already "done" before you consider working on a project car. For $2000, that Comet sounds like a good deal. Just my .03 cents.
