Every Maverick /Comet I have ever seen with a 351w or 351c
had a stock length drive shaft,stock trans mount,stock engine mount location. And they all had the towers cut just like the one in the article mentioned. I have some engine bay pics I took of the towers in a mav with a cleveland in it. They are cut the same way the Mustang towers were cut. I will be putting a cleveland into my mav this winter and getting my towers cut too.
