That is the real question. In the future I would like more displacement but I couldn't decide if the stroker was easier than the 351 windsor. The stroker kits are becoming much less expensive and obviously the 302 fits better. Also, are the newer truck 351 windsors roller blocks and how difficult are they to find. Roller cams produce significantly more HP especially in the solid lifter form. If the 5.0 roller blocks are easier to find than stroking one to 347 would be much better in the end and would likely produce more power with the roller cam vs the flat tappet cam. ::I have read many of the posts about the 351W swap into the mav. There seems to be differing opinions on how well it fits. My questions are, can you change plugs and install headers on the 351W installed in a mav without any mods to the shock towers. Someone posted some nice pics of modified towers but I was just wondering if that was really necessary for the 351W swap!
