I am looking for some type of positive unit to go in a
9 inch housing that I have for my Comet GT.
Ring gear/ratio at this point is unimportant as I am
wanting to know if these rears are positive units.
I believe due to the length-backing plate to plate-
that they are out of trucks. 54 and 56 inches.
The 8 inch in my Comet now is 50 inches but I have
a 9 inch housing-need a hogshead and positive unit.
