That depends upon your distributor and initial timing. If it is stock not all of the timing would be "in" by 2000rpm. If you have a timing light and the proper timing marks on the harmonic balancer you can run the engine at different rpms and determine the total timing and when it is all "in". Some of the others on this board may know off hand what the total timing would be using the stock distributor and the known initial timing.:

say cruising at 2000rpms, what should my total timing be?
