:Guys I had a bolt break when I was putting my 200 Back together. I tried and easy out but it just wont grab. The botlt sheered off at a sharp angle and I can't and couldn't get a hole in the middle to grab it with the easy out. The easy out is grabbing the side of the screw hole that is not taken up by the bolt. I don't think that I can just drill it out and then die a little bigger hole. What can I do here? All Ideas are welcome. BTW, the bolt is in the hole for the right side of the thermostat housing. I had the same thing happen to a 5.0 that I used to own, what did the trick for me was to get a left hand twist drill bit and try to drill a hole. The broken bolt just backed right out. Good luck. |
