:Selling a Maverick Marauder 76 with 72,722 orgin. miles where do I go to sell? Is there someone out there that wants to purchase this car? Rare car very rare. More rare than Comet
Just this evening got in contact with an old FORD salesman who sold in the 70s at a dealership near by. He can't remember hearing about any Mavs beyond the Grabber and Sprint and the Comet GT models. The Comet GTs are not really rare but would be considered scarce due to about 3500 units +/- on average being produced in each year from 71 to about 75. I'm not firm on these figures or years. Saw this figure in I believe Car Craft some years back. Marauder is a Mercury name that has been gone quite some time and will be coming back in 2003 as Factory hot sedan with 300 hp,4 speed auto with hi stall convertor and 3:55 axle gear. Saw this beauty at the all FORD Carlisle,Pa. show along with the Thunderbird and the Fortyniner.
