What I did (a long time ago) was buy some chrome trim about the same size as the hood lip molding. It has self sticking tape. Normally, you would apply it to the side of the car. Stuck it right on the hood, closed the hood, and it looked just like the factory piece. Same profile and everything. Works well on hoods that are all rusted out underneath as well. |
