I posted a while back about my starter breaking at the head, Now I have another question. The head was the only thing damaged, a friend of mine had a extra head off a starter,so I figured I could save a little money. I put the head on my starter and bolted it in. For some reason the head is not right, it puts the starter to close to the flywheel. My Mav is a (not) original 302 with a c-4. 2 bolt starter. What head do I have now?
