Very weird problem with the Mav...

Last week I changed the water pump pulley on the Maverick. When I put the engine back together, I had put a large diameter pulley on the w/p cause I couldn't find the other one. Last week I found it, so I put it on.

The car ran about ten degrees cooler (175 vs 185) for the last week or so, which was fine with me. Three nights ago, I drove the ten minutes home kind of heavy footed and the temp guage never got to even 160. I have a 160 deg thermostat. Yesterday, I check the coolant level and it was fine.

Last night I was driving home and stopped at the gas station to fill up. I left the car running, due to hot starter problems, while filling up. Upon coming out of Speedway, I noticed a puddle collecting under the car. Yep, it was oil. Seems to be coming from the rear of the engine. The puddle was about 4 inches in diameter, and the oil was just about body temp (~98).
The car had been running for 20 minutes or so and that oil should have been hot.

Can anybody make any sense of this at all?
