I'm 15 (almost 16) and have a 72 Grabber. I've actually gotten my dad involved, so to speak. My grandpa helps me a lot, too. Although at the time I am not actually restoring it (due to lack of funding), I am learning about it and getting it running well - it runs, but needs a few things fixed (suspension, body work, ...). I hope that answers your question a little.
