:I don't think that's what the question was reffering to- but until he answers this post we won't know for sure. The Grabber hood was used in Brazil until 1977.
: :: I think I may have figured this out... If you take a look at the picture ,Thats a Brazilian Maverick Grabber,It has the grabber hood AND it has the F-O-R-D on it. Maybe they put grabber hoods on more than just the `71s and`72s in Brazil. :: Now the question would be, how did a Brazilian hood wind up in the states???? to clarify,the grabber hood i have has the holes for the letters ford across the nose of the hood not the front left,they appear to be in the same location as those on a hood that came with ford on it factory but its not a grabber hood.im going to remove some paint to try and see if these are in the identical location or not .i think its unlikely that they are factory,and im not the first owner.lastly im not in brazil im in canada.thanks for all the info guys,later...mcmav |
