 :My 70 Maverick's brake lights stay on when the brake pedal is NOT depressed. Is there adjustment to the switch or perhaps the arm has broken a return spring ??? Thanx

The stoplite switch is located on the brake pedal arm and mounted on a pin with a retainer pin clip. The switch could be bad or the bushing in the push rod could be worn,broken or missing on combination of these.
