Hello all,
For a summer job, i was lucky enough to get a job at the local Autozone (20% off!). I was looking through our catalogs today on the Flowtech headers, and i noticed something interesting under the Maverick...there was a little note about using a special adapter for the power steering on the Mavericks. I was just wondering if anyone knew about this, and if it works? I've seen many discussions on the headers not fitting with power steering, but i don't recall seeing this part being brought up. If interested, i can get the Flowtech part#. (i don't have power steering, so i don't need it....but i figured someone might have a need for it). Could this be an overlooked piece that could make the swap easier for those with power steering?Also, the flowtech's for the 302 Mavs are $100.99 at Autozone--not the greatest full-length headers, granted, but affordable on my budget. Do they fit without major modifications? A little shock tower pounding wouldn't be too bad... I have manual steering and it's a 69.5 Mav. Thanks!
