The facts are that Ford did use different valves, they obviously did the R&D and decided that they needed different ones. And usually they change the fittings around so that you can't "accidently" install the wrong one. Must have been a reason for that. What it is and why, I don't know. But I am gooding to do some research on this and find out.
Fact 1
Disc and Drums, brake differently from each other.
Fact 2
Disc and Drum fade, heat, cool & dry out different then each other.
Fact 3
Disc & Drum brake systems operate at different pressures.
Fact 4
Disc & Drum systems response at different speeds and ratios. :I need to know if the prop. valves are different between drums and disks (front). If anyone has a factory disk brake car and a factory drum brake car, would you look at them to see if they look physically different? If they ARE different I need a Disk brake Prop. valve ASAP. Or my Mav won't make it to the Round Up Thanks Russ
