Its really simple. There is a bracket on the driver's side framerail that the power steering sylinder attaches to. Two bolts hold it to the framerail and one bolt holds the cylinder to it.

You are replacing this bracket with the flowtech bracket, which is identical only longer so that the headers will clear.

:I just recently got some Hooker Comp headers for my 74 maverick. 302. I also got the Flowtech "relocating bracket" for my power steering. i was hoping to get the exhaust put on this weekend, but i want to save a little money and relocate the power steering myself. The problem is.. i have no idea how this bracket works or where it goes to??? can anybody give me some good directions on how to do this?? i want to be sure i do it right, because the muffler shop is 30 miles from where the car is currently at. Thank you very much.
