Sloppy windshield wipers

Is there any way to repair my wipers on my 74 Mav? The right side wiper has so much slop in the linkage that it runs about half out of sync with the left.Is there any quick fix or do I need to rob a granada for the linkages to fix this? It's gonna drine me crazy!!!!! thanks Al Spears
