Also if it will are there any modifications that I would have to make to the car in order for things to fit properly. The 351 is newly rebuilt and it sounds like a great deal. If I were to put that type of engine would I have to do any brake or suspension mods? The info for my car: 1973 Mav, 2 door, automatic floor shift, orginal gears? It's a lot of work and expense to do that swap. I don't know how determined or inclined you are, but it can be done. It's much the same as swapping a 351w engine with header/spring tower clearence issues etc. The headers may be a much bigger issue than for a 351w engine. I would refer you to an owner named Bob Hatcher in Pa., can be found in the registery. He done this swap long time ago and would be glad to tell all you need to know. Good luck.
