Well, they don't always fit as advertised and they are also 3 times more expensive than what I paid for the mav headers. They also were designed to go into one that didn't have the engine moved back and up. We did that on purpose to change the center of balance for quicker 60 ft times and a few other reasons that i won't tell(secret). There used to be a set of hooker headers that were for the swap too. Seeing the ammount of space between the shock towers when we originally set the motor in there on the stock locations, I doubt that any header would fit without modifying the towers UNLESS you plan on never changing the plugs without some real painfull skinned knuckles. I can't do that kind of work as I was robbed by 4 young gentlemen the night of the 1st rodney king trial. They beat me near death with baseball bats and now I can hardly bend over my car long enough to do a regular plug change let alone trying to get in there at some that are so hard to get out that I would be there any extra length of time. I also can't afford to have someone else change my plugs everytime I want to check and see if they are fowled or whatever. This way I have some space to work with and other options.
Hope this answered your quiestions

:Why didnt you just buy the 351w swap hedders for Mavericks made by tubular automotive that allow you to install a windsor with out modifying the towers at all?(I have seen this installation in a `72 comet GT and the towers were untouched.)
