:Ok well Now that I know what and were it is, and all that is good. Now for a new question, (sorry) But it is about the vac. lines, by the e-break on the car I have access to all the vac.lines, I know that the black provides the sucking, but what does the black hook to (other vac. line colors) I know yellow is for the center and side vents, the blue is for floor heat, but I'm not too sure on what the red, brown do but I do know that the white does nothing because the other end is hanning by the passenge side kick pannal plugged, and the diaphram or what ever it hooks up to is gone, so what vac. lines do I need to hook up to the black line, for heat, or is all those vac. lines for only a/c stuff, and where the heat goes throuhg what the

My head's awash in pretty colors! WHEW!! Easy, Jason. Very simply, if a vacuum line was hooked up a certain way before, put it back as it was. It was done the way it was for a reason. I can't answer your question as what specific line does what because I need a detailed diagram myself for my '76 Stallion. If it is attached to the emission system, there are ways to plug or bypass without making things screwed up, as long as you know what you're doing. On these older cars, you may actually end up with it running better! For other systems, put everything back as it should be. If you dissect it too much, you'll cause yourself more grief than you avoid. If you're having other vacuum related problems, or you suspect same, it may be advisable to start replacing lines. Do it one at a time so you don't cross them up on replacement. I recently was working on the engine and carb and decided to replace them all just to save me grief later. Old vacuum lines are problems just waiting to happen, if they aren't currently. Anything else, I'm here. I do want to know how this turns out. This is almost better than an episode of CSI! If this works out, Jason, I'll have to start calling myself the Gil Grissom of Mavericks!!
