About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was driving my Maverick, and then I heard (and felt) a big blowout. I figured it was the tire or something, and the car was shaking horribly, so I pulled over and checked all the tires. No problems there, but smoke was everywhere. Dark fluid was pouring out from under the car, so I looked - transmission. The bellhousing was shot - cracked, for lack of a better term. I think it was the flexplate, but don't know. It's heading in tommorow to find out and get fixed. My first experience with real car problems. Wish me luck - I'm gonna need it! |
