:While scrounging at my local junkyard for small maverick bumpers (yeah right) i came accross a vehicle i just had to have - 1 1963 Ford F100 shortbed stepside. Anyway the motor is an I6, and runs very strong. The problem is is that no one knows the displacement or year of the motor (it's not the original). I was hoping that someone may know of a website or something that may shed some light on the subject. The block casting number is O1AE-6015-K. Thanks in advance.

Larry, I know that Ford passenger car sixes have C (sixties), D (seventies), and E (eighties) as the first letter. I'm guessing that the Oh or zero first character is a truck motor. Try posting your question on the Ford Six Performance Forum. First go to http:/fordsix.com, then click on the "Ford Six Performance Forums" link. Sorry, I don't know how to add a link. Tom
