:Steve; I just pushed it in the channel all the way. Be sure to start at the rear of the door, on the inside, and put the end of the rubber in the channe. Then, push it up and around the channel till you get to the end of the door on the front. It is a pill, but you will like the results. Be patient, and ensure the rubber is square and all the way in the bottom of the channel. Good luck,
