:I have an imaginary set up for a car and I was wondering what the 1/4 mile times and horsepower ratings would be? It's a 1973 Mav with headers, exhaust, Holley 650 carb, intake manifold, mild camshaft, and ignition system with coil all on a rebuilt 302 with a stock C-4 tranny? Thanks in advance.
:Jeri To calculate the times etc. we need more info such as weight, tire size gear ratio and more. I think a rough estimate would be in the 14 to 15 second range. Check the attachment for an idea of what variables are used for different situations. Just for info, my 75 Mav with highly modified 302 and NO NITROUS, runs in the low 10 second area at 112 to 115mph.
