The block is being completely torn down and hot tanked. It definitely didn't go lean and detonate. It looks like it has been wearing for a while until the bearing finally gave. The yops of the pistons don't show too hot and the plugs lok kind of rich.
Remember this was not the first nitrous run ever, just first of the night. I have probably 20 runs on the same setup and never showed a lean condition. It looks like the ticking that I thought was a loose rocker arm that I tried to adjust the day before was actually the bearing starting to go. |
