Jeri; my first guess is a misadjusted brake. If it is too tight, it will pull. Or, if the other side is too loose, it will pull, providing they are drum brakes. If they are discs, you may have a bad caliper. The pull could be caused by the same problem. The shimmy is probably an out of balance tire. Also, check the shocks, and see if they are in good shape.
