:From what I understand it's a bolt-on affair, as long as you get everything matched (spindles, proportioning valve, etc.). I've yet to put them on, but I can't wait. Many people on this board have successfully done this swap. If you check the archives, you'll find lots of useful info.
: : :: : : ::Interesting...is the power brake set-up from a '78 Granada a direct match for the Mav? . . .Earl, let us know if the power unit bolts up and/or what changes needed to be made to do so . The firewall to shock tower brace will have a different shape to provide clearence for the vac unit when stock parts are used. .I am nearing ready to do the disc change without power assist then find a way to go remote power assist later because I have no room for the vac unit. Sometime in the future I will be doing an 8" rear disc conversion, know the disc that fits and just need to size up the rear caliper mounting from another Ford car. Good luck,Ken |
