Wow, this place changed a bit since my last visit. There is no 460 going in my Mav anytime real soon. I'm fixing to buy a house so its on the backburner and I've been building the 302 instead. Less headaches for now.

The shocktowers are now notched about 2 inches on either side. Even with the 302, plug clearance is SO much better. We trial fitted the 460 in there, the stock pan clears, and while its still tight as hell, its doable. Stock manifolds will not work, period. Steering box is in the way. Stock oil filter location isn't idea either. I'll get some pics as soon as I get my piece of crap camera fixed.

Anyway, the stock engine is just about finnished. Just a .030 302, 9.5:1 compression, block has been decked, align honed, ect... stock heads have been ported and polished, mostly on the exhaust side, stock valves, cleaned up the bowls and a few more things, not really high dollar heads. Also has forged pistons and good rod bolts for NOS. I'll be using a 125 horse shot.

Edelbrock Performer intake with a 600 Holley, Compcams 268, MSD ignition (box, coil, distibutor), Motorsport wires, valve covers, air cleaner, TCI converter, Cheetah valve body, and I now have 3.55 gears but still need to get a posi unit, maybe a Auburn.

I figure it SHOULD run high 13s off the bottle, even with the engine being as mild as it is. I'll find out when I get it running and take it to the track.

Thats it for now, should have pics up in a few days.
