On the vents.....Your ac/Heating system will still be able to pull fresh air from under the fenders even with the "slits" bondo'ed shut. Not as much as before, but some. If you only use bondo, I doubt if the repair will last. You would really need to use metal welded in that area. Also, water will still leak in around the windshield wiper "posts" that come up thru there...so you really won't solve your problem 100%....maybe only 95%. On the seat...I really doubt you will be able to sell those on ebay. Not a lot of interest in torn 4-door bench seats. Hope this helps.
