:.Yes the 300 can be put in. I have saw this for real and have pictures. My opinion!!! The cost is going to be quite high to get that performance level for a bored and stroked 300 block. However if you have the resources great. You are talking 2 horse power per cubic inch. This means that the rotating assembly must be very strong and that equals 'money'. Head work to the max and spin the engine quite high. Don't know if the info you saw included super charging in one form or another but would get you to 600HP. Remember that getting this much power from even a 351 v8 requires high grade parts if the engine is going to have any life. Good luck if you decide to do it.
