::5X91l120018 Also here are the door codes: Body=62a / Color=9DGB / Trim=HD / Trans=6 / DSO=46 If someone could tell me what all this means. I know it was made in Canada. Also that it still has the original rag top, disc brakes, a/c, and 250 motor. I am curious about the rear end and gears. Any and all info will be appreciated.
: :Craig's right. Your Mav is a 1975 (5). It is a 2 door sedan (91). It was produced in St. Thomas plant (x). It has a 250cid 6 cylinder engine (L). The end numbers in the vin are the consecutive unit number. The paint color is white. It has a full blue vinyl roof (gb). You have a dark red ruffino/corinthian vinyl bench seat (hd). It has a 4 speed manual transmission. The dso (district code) is for Indianapolis. The body code confirms a 2 door sedan. None of these codes seem to denote a car of Canadian manufacture, unless you have the Canada export stickers on the door jamb. :This info came out of my 1975-1976 Ford shop manuals. Hope this was what you were looking for. Did you say a 4-speed manual transmission? I thought they only came with 3 spds. |
