I have an '84 block to rebuild, after my previous engine met an untimely and ugly death, and would like to go roller cam this time around... : ..I would not recommend this be done due to the cost. ..The lifter bores are not as long like the roller block, you need to fit a lifter retainers assembly and use shorter push rods. A conversion kit is costly and may even need a specialy ground cam that makes changing cams for performance changes also costly. In short get a roller block and be done with it. Ken
