I live in canada and brough my car from the states to here. All that I needed was the bill of sale and ownership. I had to pay tax on it so when you get the car see if you can get two bills of sale. One for the real price of the car and another for the border. If you are upfront to the previous owner he shouldnt have any real problem doing it. Besides most canadian are to polite to say no. If your heading up to the Toronto area to pick up the car please let me know as I am trying to send some parts down to St Louis and maybe you could throw them in your trunk for part of the journey and pick up a couple of extra bucks. that is if your heading that way.
