What I should have done and you should do is find a blown roller motor from I think 86-93 mustangs. If you do the conversion like I did then you can still change the cam with any roller lifter cam for small block ford.
.Its the $800 or whatever cost that I was referring to that could have been better spent. The older 302 blocks need a special cam ground with smaller lobes. In you original post,I didn't know you already had it done or weather the block could take a standard roller cam. Roller set up is much better. We have a 93 Mustang LX coupe that I ported the heads and installed high lift rocker arms on. This engine is stock otherwise but has enormous HP for these limited mods. My 302 with all the mods it has cannot even come close to this 93.
