there are tunnel rams that make great low end power,and are very streetable.i have a weiand hi ram on my 302,with 9.5 comp and a f303 cam. it drives great and makes tons of power,and looks wicked. linkage was easy..mr.gasket linkage kit,complete for 69 bucks in jegs.power band is from 2500 to 6500. the myths of a 10000 rpm powerband is false.just buy the right intake.don't buy a edelbrock prodominator tunnel ram(6500-10000 rpm) and you will love it.a 100 mile cruise is not far,and you will love the attention they draw.a single plane single carb may give you a tenth or two better in 1/4 mile,but the look and sound of the ram is worth it and then some.
