Thanks alot for the Nice words about my car. Its not finished yet(Are they ever REALLY finished?) My car has a Radical
combination, 12.8 to1 compression 306 Offy t-ram with 2 600 holleys,(I wanted 450 mechanical secondaries, but I already had the 600`s) Solid lifter cam 576/570 lift 255/266 dur.@.050, Full race type c-4 with a reverse manual valve body and a 4,000rpm converter with a (currently)4.11 geared 9" with a spool. It runs on a mixture of 114 Sonoco race gas and 93 premium. To most people my whole car isnt what you`d call very streetable. But I Driven it around town and its very surprising just how well it does. I used to have a single 650 dp holley on a torqer intake and It didnt have ANY better throttle response than it does now. I havent had any slicks on it yet or ran it at the track with this set up But I think it. will do a quicker time than before (11.47@115mph). I think if you use at least a 3.70 gear,a decent set of heads and a converter with a 2800 or so stall, and use the 450 holleys you should be happy with it. AS far as looks...The first time I took my car to town (Its been apart for a long time) a guy almost had a wreck doing a U turn in the middle of a 4 lane just so he could come get a better look at the car. And I `ve had two guys tell me that after Being around my car They would be ordering T-rams for their project cars. |
