I traided for the said truck. Has nice crome wheels (being a f100 they will fit my mav), 302 ci bored out quiet large, 4bl carb, headman headers that fit snugly close to the engine. suposed to be beefed up and a real race truck. BUT, the fly wheel is ate up and I could not start the engine. The owner said that the fly wheel must have been the wrong one and has just ran it like that. A new starter would not start it. seemed to be hitting the side of the flywheel. So I went ahead and traided since my father has known him a long time, and he said it was a good motor. Now, If this thing runs good and his son did not wear it out, What parts would work on the mav? Would the rear end from the truck fit? and would the 250ci engine fit in the truck to maybe get my money back? $500.00 is what I am out. The body is a step side and has a little rust, but is kind of cool looking. And is there any other problem that could cause the fly wheel to to this? |
